Reporting to the Managing Editor for Local Coverage, you will oversee the latter daily news cycle and help create top-quality content. Curiosity about local stories and enthusiasm for mentoring younger reporters are essential. You will also report performance, support editorial decisions, and respond to audience feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

- Report stories and produce timely online content
- Mentor newer employees in CP Style and Global News practices
- Report top-performing content to inform editorial decisions
- Ensure stories meet content, grammar, and style standards
- Resolve website user complaints and social feedback

Requirements:

- Post-secondary education in journalism or communications
- At least seven years’ editorial or reporting experience
- Demonstrable news-reporting track record
- Proficiency with Snapchat, Instagram, and social media
- Punctual, prompt, cooperative, and positive approach
