Lead custom robotic system validation at FulcrumAir while applying FEA, CAD, and mechanical design skills. The position is based in SE Calgary with one potential home day weekly.

FulcrumAir develops UAV and aerial robotics technology for safer power line work. As Mechanical Design Engineer, you will help create new products and continuously improve existing systems. You will coordinate with electrical and software specialists, suppliers, integrators, field operations, and production technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead development and validation of custom robotic systems
- Collaborate across mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines
- Work with suppliers to integrate current technology
- Conduct field issue root cause analysis
- Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- FEA software experience with results interpretation
- New product development experience in robotics or automation
- Methodical, organized approach to continuous improvement
- Strong written, oral, time management, and detail skills
