Improve reliability, observability, and scale for Auth0 infrastructure with DataDog, Prometheus, Golang, and Terraform. Work remotely across a fully distributed engineering team.
In this Senior Platform Engineer role, you will support the infrastructure behind Auth0’s identity platform and its more than 100 million daily logins. You will design secure-by-default systems, enforce service objectives, and lead cross-functional delivery. The position combines software development, operations, performance engineering, and technical mentorship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain scalable infrastructure-as-code platform runtime
- Use DataDog and Prometheus to develop SLIs
- Enforce platform SLOs and improve operational reliability
- Drive complex initiatives across multiple engineering teams
- Support AI tools, mentoring, and the on-call rotation
Requirements:
- Five to eight years of software development experience
- Solid Golang, Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure expertise
- Experience optimizing performance, scale, resiliency, and cost
- Incident response, RCA, and preventative action experience
- Experience experimenting with AI models and effort levels
