Design secure Java platforms at Citi across Kubernetes, Kafka, APIs, and cloud infrastructure. This full-time role focuses on architecture, integration, and technical leadership.

As a seasoned Senior Java Back-End Developer, you will translate business needs into technical roadmaps and architecture runway. Your scope includes AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, service mesh, CI/CD, data stores, and secure API authentication. You will also support engineering standards, mentorship, compliance, and GenAI knowledge involving MCP, A2A, and agentic architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design integrations across SQL, NoSQL, Redis, and event streams
- Establish data contracts, schema evolution, and consistency patterns
- Design Kubernetes, service mesh, CI/CD, and IaC solutions
- Embed OWASP, OAuth2, OIDC,



and zero trust practices
- Partner with SRE and platform teams on observability

Requirements:

- 5+ years of Java and Spring experience at scale
- Expertise with REST, GraphQL, Kafka, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Experience with databases, Redis, CI/CD, Terraform, and observability
- Demonstrated architectural leadership, design reviews, and mentorship
- Robust stakeholder management and communication skills
