Build the governed data foundation behind Cohere’s frontier AI systems, leading infrastructure engineering from Toronto or another global office. Remote-friendly work is available.

As a senior data infrastructure leader, you will make Cohere’s data trustworthy, available, and secure for people and AI agents. Your team will manage connectors, Airflow, Cloud Run, BigQuery, dbt, Terraform, Looker, export APIs, and semantic layers. You will establish standards that scale analytics across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the agentic analytics program and evaluation harness
- Scale medallion frameworks, naming conventions, and testing patterns
- Maintain freshness SLAs, alerting, and anomaly detection
- Handle sensitive requests, audit logs, and access paths




- Onboard domains and keep technical documentation accurate

Requirements:

- 10+ years of relevant data or infrastructure experience
- Management experience leading data platform or infrastructure teams
- Data modeling expertise across fact, dimension, and semantic layers
- Operational excellence with incidents, SLAs, and postmortems
- Genuine interest in AI research and production systems
