The Staff Scientist, Proteomics role provides scientific leadership across customer demonstrations, field applications, and regional laboratories. You will apply liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry expertise to biological samples and complex workflows. Your findings will inform demonstration capabilities, technical recommendations, and prioritized product requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver customer-sample demonstrations on SCIEX mass spectrometry platforms
- Build reproducible workflows, benchmark methods, and reference data
- Define troubleshooting paths and application readiness standards




- Guide distributed teams through best-practice sharing and coaching
- Translate scientific findings into technical and product recommendations

Requirements:

- Analytical chemistry, chemistry, biochemistry, or life sciences degree
- Relevant experience of 20+, 10+, or 7+ years by degree
- Proteomics experience; metabolomics and multi-omics experience highly desired
- Method optimization and troubleshooting across cells, tissues, and biofluids
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as business requires
