CIMA+’s Energy & Resources team supports clients from feasibility studies through commissioning. This Structural Engineer – Hydropower and Dams position focuses on hydroelectric generating stations, associated civil infrastructure, and hydraulic structures. Projects involve planning, detailed design, assessment, rehabilitation, construction support, and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support hydroelectric facility structural design and rehabilitation
- Develop engineering calculations and technical specifications
- Produce engineering reports and contract documents




- Provide construction engineering support and conduct field inspections
- Collaborate with project managers and senior engineers

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, structural focus
- Eight years’ relevant civil or structural experience minimum
- P.Eng. registration in Ontario
- Experience designing concrete and steel structures
- Excellent English communication and problem-solving capabilities
