This Director role combines hands-on financial administration with strategic leadership in a lean academic organization. Reporting to the Principal-Dean, you will oversee reporting, audits, investments, capital planning, policy coordination, and financial systems. The position supports Luther’s Board of Governors and mission as a Wilfrid Laurier University federated college.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee financial operations supporting Board fiduciary obligations
- Reconcile investment manager reports and resolve discrepancies
- Manage external audit scheduling, contracts, and processes




- Support staff and faculty with budgets and financial information
- Maximize accounting software reporting capabilities where possible

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field
- At least five years’ progressive finance or accounting experience
- At least three years’ leadership or management experience
- Ability to work effectively within governance-based environments
- High integrity, judgment, discretion, and relationship-management skills
