As Principal Geotechnical Engineer, you will provide senior technical and business leadership across WSP’s Dams and Tailings Practice. You will strengthen capabilities and relationships while overseeing water-retention structures, mining dams, dykes, and mine waste facilities. The work includes technical direction, construction support, closure, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead technical and business growth regionally
- Strengthen capabilities and client relationships
- Serve as Qualified Professional for Alberta dams
- Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, and quality
- Share expertise across teams and geographies

Requirements:

- Accredited Civil or Geological Engineering bachelor’s degree
- APEGA Skilled Engineer registration or eligibility
- 15+ years of practical engineering experience
- Demonstrated complex project and client management experience
- Ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams
