Support mine and industrial hauling from Birch Mountain Enterprises’ Fort McKay main shop with Class 1 operating and securement expertise. No camp or flights are provided.

This Class 1 Operator role suits experienced drivers familiar with mine driving, manual transmissions, and multiple hauling configurations. You will operate demo end dumps, demo B-trains, and flat decks while completing inspections, risk assessments, work orders, and safety documentation. Occasional overnight travel to Edmonton or Red Deer may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive safely and efficiently in mine and industrial environments
- Operate demo end dump, B-train, and flat deck equipment
- Complete risk assessments, inspections, logbooks, and work orders




- Attend safety meetings and maintain current training
- Follow site regulations, TDG, WHMIS, and company procedures

Requirements:

- Minimum three years’ Class 1 manual transmission experience
- Valid Class 1 licence and clean driver’s abstract
- Required chaining, strapping, and load securement experience
- Mine driving and pipe hauling experience are assets
- OSSA or BSO/CSO and CSTS certification
