Build GIS applications, analyze municipal data, and create maps as GIS Coordinator for Saugeen Shores’ growing community.

Reporting to the Asset Management Supervisor, this analytical position delivers GIS services for all Town departments. You will develop and maintain internal and external apps, query and model information, create custom maps, and research recent application opportunities. The role also includes data management, spatial analysis, software administration, and communication with departments to obtain necessary records. Accuracy supports project planning, execution, and reliable knowledge of municipal asset locations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain applications for internal and external users
- Perform queries, modelling, and analysis for departmental reports




- Create custom maps for departments and external partners
- Develop scripts and models improving GIS workflows
- Participate in GIS community activities

Requirements:

- Minimum one year of work-related experience
- Expertise in ArcGIS Pro and ESRI GIS software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Demonstrated time management and deadline management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
