Support the Mayor’s Office as an Executive Assistant using strong communication, judgment, and administrative skills in a permanent full-time position.

This position provides comprehensive administrative support and advice to the Mayor while supporting Council members.

The Executive

Assistant delivers public customer service, coordinates municipal communications, and advances the strategic priorities of the Mayor and Council. The role reports to the Chief Administrative Officer and primarily takes direction from the Mayor.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the first contact for the Mayor’s Office

Provide administrative support and advice across municipal issues

Support Members of Council with basic administration





Coordinate information among municipal offices and external organizations

Respond to direction and decisions with timely information

Requirements

Post-secondary education in Business or Office Administration

At least five years of administrative experience

Excellent written, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills

Robust organization, time management, and problem-solving abilities

Microsoft Office, data management, and database proficiency
