As a senior Project Manager, you will oversee city-wide parks development, redevelopment, state of positive repair, and special projects. The two-year contract covers planning, design, construction, tendering, and contract administration. You will provide technical expertise for trails, playgrounds, facilities, roads, bridges, servicing, and stormwater management.

Key Responsibilities

Manage annual and ongoing city-wide parks development programs

Evaluate contract, property, environmental, and safety issues

Prepare tenders, specifications, estimates, and Council reports

Inspect construction sites and investigate changed conditions





Control expenditures within approved project budgets

Requirements

Five years of multidisciplinary municipal project experience required

Extensive planning, design, construction, and contract administration experience

Knowledge of construction methods, equipment, technologies, and drawings

Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and technical communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and related software
