Licensed Practical Nurses can provide direct patient care at Calian Group Ltd’s Canadian Forces Base clinic in Wainwright, Alberta. Full time hours are Monday to Friday.

This vacancy suits a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse experienced in adult primary or ambulatory care. Responsibilities include triage, patient assessment, medication administration, therapeutic procedures, health education, infection control, and clinical documentation. The clinic operates from 7:30am to 4pm.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess walk-in patients and document medical or incident histories
- Administer medications and observe therapeutic effects
- Perform sterile dressing, specimen collection, and infection control




- Prepare patients for procedures and provide clinical instructions
- Respond to queries and maintain medical records and inventory

Requirements:

- Practical Nursing Program graduation
- Alberta practical nursing licensure in good standing
- Current BLS for Health Provider or CPR Level C
- One year’s full-time experience during the last three years
- Eligibility for Government of Canada Enhanced Reliability clearance
