Carevio Technologies is a growing healthcare logistics company connecting pharmacies with a reliable, technology-driven delivery network. We help pharmacies deliver medications to patients safely, efficiently, and on time.

With operations in Montreal and Calgary, we're expanding our delivery network and looking for a motivated, organized, and independent Operations Manager to lead our Calgary operations.

The Role

We're looking for a hands-on Operations Manager who can take full responsibility for Carevio's day-to-day operations in Calgary.

You'll oversee driver operations, maintain strong relationships with partner pharmacies, resolve delivery issues, and help expand our network by bringing on new pharmacy partners.

We're looking for someone who takes initiative, solves problems independently, and can keep operations running smoothly without constant supervision.

As Carevio grows, this position offers the opportunity to take on greater leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Operations & Dispatch

- Oversee daily pharmacy deliveries and ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
- Coordinate with dispatchers and drivers to maintain efficient delivery operations.
- Monitor delivery performance, resolve delays, and handle operational issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve routing, driver efficiency, and delivery costs.




- Ensure smooth communication between pharmacies, drivers, and the dispatch team.

Driver Management

- Recruit, onboard, and train new delivery drivers across Calgary.
- Manage driver availability, performance, and retention.
- Assist drivers with app navigation, delivery procedures, and operational questions.
- Maintain a reliable network of drivers to support daily delivery demand.
- Address driver complaints and resolve issues professionally.

Pharmacy Relations & Business Development

- Serve as the primary point of contact for Calgary pharmacy partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmacists and pharmacy owners.
- Identify, contact, and meet with potential pharmacy partners.
- Present Carevio's delivery services and help onboard current pharmacies.
- Support expansion into new Calgary neighbourhoods and surrounding communities.
- Ensure high pharmacy satisfaction and address service concerns promptly.

Performance & Reporting

- Monitor key performance indicators, including delivery completion rates, driver performance, and pharmacy satisfaction.
- Provide regular operational updates to company leadership.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Help implement systems and procedures that allow operations to scale efficiently.
- Ensure appropriate privacy, confidentiality, and medication-handling procedures are followed.

Qualifications

Required:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in operations, logistics, dispatch, team coordination,



or a related field.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently, make decisions, and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Comfortable communicating with drivers, pharmacy staff, and business owners.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Based in Calgary, Alberta.

Preferred:

- Experience in last-mile delivery, courier operations, or logistics.
- Experience managing independent contractors or delivery drivers.
- Business development, sales, or account management experience.
- Familiarity with the pharmacy or healthcare industry.
- Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
- Experience working in a startup or fast-growing company.
