About the role

Phoenix Hydraulics Ltd. is hiring an Outside Sales Representative to win new business and grow existing accounts across the Lower Mainland. We repair hydraulic cylinders, pumps, and motors, manufacture replacement cylinders, and provide machining and industrial hard chrome plating services.

You’ll spend much of your time visiting shops, yards, and industrial facilities. You’ll work directly with equipment owners, fleet managers, maintenance supervisors, and parts teams to understand their needs, gather the details our shop needs to quote, and follow jobs through to completion.

What you’ll do

- Find new customers through prospecting calls, site visits, and referrals in construction, trucking, waste and recycling, marine, and manufacturing.
- Grow existing accounts by identifying upcoming hydraulic repair, cylinder replacement, machining, and hard chrome plating work.
- Gather part numbers, photos, measurements, equipment details, and turnaround requirements so our shop can quote accurately.
- Work with the shop team to prepare quotes, confirm lead times, and keep customers informed.
- Follow up on open quotes, close orders,



and track customer visits and sales opportunities.

What you bring
- Experience in outside sales, business development, or a customer-facing technical role in hydraulics, heavy equipment, industrial parts, machining, or a related field.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to discuss equipment problems with technicians and maintenance teams. Hands-on experience with hydraulic cylinders, pumps, or motors is a strong asset. Familiarity with hard chrome plating is also an asset.
- Confidence approaching new customers, asking practical questions, and following up consistently.
- Strong communication and organization skills, with the ability to manage your own schedule and sales pipeline.
- A valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel regularly throughout the Lower Mainland.

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
