As an entry-level Workplace Health and Safety Specialist, you will coordinate Amazon’s Global Safety Program across an operational building. The work includes audits, compliance documentation, safety training, and process improvements. You will support associates, managers, and safety teams while promoting proactive safety practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and implement Amazon’s Global Safety Program
- Conduct audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Maintain paperwork and record incidents in databases
- Train team members on safety tasks and rules
- Recommend risk mitigation measures, including ergonomics
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or holding a bachelor’s or master’s degree
- Complete all degree requirements before the first day
- Degree in a health and safety-related subject preferred
- Strong verbal, written, and analytical communication skills
- Availability for flexible shifts, including nights and weekends
