We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time General Cleaner to join our team in Blind River, Ontario.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment by performing routine janitorial duties. This position is ideal for someone who works well independently, takes pride in their work, and is available for evening shifts.

Work Schedule

- Monday to Friday: 2 hours per shift, starting after 5:30 p.m.
- Total Hours: 10 hours per week
- Position Type: Part-Time

Applicants must be available to work the required evening schedule.

Key Responsibilities

- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors in designated areas.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, and fixtures.
- Clean and sanitize washrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Empty garbage bins and dispose of waste and recycling appropriately.
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces, including door handles, countertops, and light switches.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and washroom consumables as needed.
- Follow established cleaning procedures,



safety protocols, and site-specific requirements.
- Report any maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
- Maintain a professional and respectful attitude while working at the assigned facility.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Previous commercial cleaning or janitorial experience is an asset.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
- Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive movements.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Availability to work Monday to Friday evenings.
