Drive modern GFL Environmental trucks in Fort St. John, BC, using hydraulic packer systems while delivering safe, effective waste and recycling service. Early starts may apply.

This Swing Driver assignment covers Roll Off, Front End, Residential, and other collection vehicles. You will complete route inspections, trip logs, paperwork, and e-logs while supporting productive daily operations. Success requires a clean driving abstract, relevant commercial experience, physical fitness, and dependable attendance. You will also coordinate with Dispatchers and Supervisors during assigned work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Complete assigned routes using safe fleet operation practices
- Finish inspections, trip logs, paperwork, and e-logs
- Use hydraulic and compaction systems without damaging equipment




- Follow traffic laws, bylaws, safety policies, and PPE standards
- Coordinate daily operations with Dispatchers and Supervisors

Requirements:

- Class 1 Driver’s License with a clean Driver’s Abstract
- At least one year of relevant commercial driving experience
- Demonstrated heavy vehicle and hydraulic packer operation ability
- Strong attendance and flexibility for operational overtime
- Physical ability to meet every-shift job demands
