MEC needs a hands-on Warehouse Operations Lead for its Surrey distribution centre, combining staffing coordination, safety leadership, and operational communication. This is a 100% onsite afternoon-shift position.

You will supervise the Western Distribution Centre while providing service to MEC’s internal and external partners. The work includes balancing workloads with service levels, responding to volume fluctuations, and supporting efficient, quality-focused practices. You will also contribute to employee engagement, daily meetings, security, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Arrange staffing levels according to fluctuating distribution volumes
- Ensure staff follow efficiency and quality best practices
- Promote open communication, teamwork, and employee engagement




- Attend and lead daily startup crew meetings
- Open and close the centre while maintaining building security

Requirements:

- Minimum one year in warehouse or distribution centre work
- Knowledge of WMS systems and Microsoft 365 applications
- Robust written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to stay composed across multiple projects
- Availability for Monday-Friday afternoon shifts and other shifts
