Deliver rapid-access mental health support through The Alex RAAM Program in Calgary, using CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing. Work full-time within a multidisciplinary clinical team.

This Mental Health Clinician position provides low-barrier care for individuals experiencing substance use concerns and complex needs. You will deliver therapies, assess clients, develop individualized service plans, and support treatment and recovery goals. The role uses harm reduction, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and recovery-based approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide four to five therapeutic encounters daily
- Use CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy
- Facilitate psychoeducation and evidence-based group programming




- Move clients from caseloads and accept current clients
- Refer clients to agencies and programs when needed

Requirements:

- Master's degree in psychology, social work, or related field
- Active professional registration in Alberta
- Two years of Mental Health Clinician experience minimum
- Experience with vulnerable populations and substance use disorders
- Awareness of FOIP, HIA, HIPA, and Mature Minor doctrines
