Shape high-voltage and extra-high-voltage line projects at WSP, combining route selection, structure analysis, and technical project management expertise.

This senior engineering position supports overhead transmission design from 34.5kV through 500kV. You will evaluate routes, develop line and structure designs, prepare bid packages, and coordinate multidisciplinary delivery. The role is available with Power Delivery teams in Western Canada offices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate technical options, routes, and design criteria
- Develop overhead line and structure design deliverables
- Apply construction standards for high-voltage line work
- Maintain client relationships and project communications
- Identify challenges and implement project solutions

Requirements:

- Ten years of overhead transmission design experience
- Experience with route selection and structure spotting
- Experience with structure design, analysis, and bid packages
- Proficiency in PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and PLS-Lite
- Skilled Engineering license and accredited engineering degree
