Shape Menlo Security’s ingress proxy with secure systems engineering, HTTP and TLS knowledge, and expertise in high-concurrency services.

This senior engineer works on the service that provides the primary path into Menlo Security’s product for most users. You will help extend security controls to traffic from AI agents while preserving performance and data integrity. The position combines architectural ownership, production operations, and careful technical communication.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own ingress proxy features from design through production
- Extend controls for people and agent traffic
- Implement secure systems and mitigate vulnerabilities proactively
- Use profiling tools and effective concurrency models
- Collaborate across teams to refine and deliver changes

Requirements:

- Five or more years operating production systems
- Working knowledge of HTTP and TLS
- Strongly preferred experience with Rust or Go
- Understanding of backpressure, cancellation, and non-blocking I/O
- Ability to defend architectural decisions collaboratively
