Arnot Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver accountable patient care under registered nurse direction. Work 12-hour shifts from 0600 to 1830.

As part of Arnot Health, an integrated healthcare delivery system serving Recent York’s Southern Tier, you will care for an assigned patient group. The position requires graduation from a qualifying practical nursing program and supports patient movement, lifting, and assistance. Basic Life Support must be completed within 90 days of hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support is required in critical care units. Every other weekend and floating are required. The stated standard rate is $26.15 to $37.00 per hour plus benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

- Care for patients under registered nurse supervision
- Accept accountability for an assigned patient group




- Assist patients whose size and abilities vary
- Perform required lifting, reaching, and stooping
- Work scheduled weekends and float as required

Requirements:

- Complete a practical nursing program registered by an authority
- Meet New York State or another state’s licensing education standard
- Complete Basic Life Support within 90 days
- Complete Advanced Cardiac Life Support in critical care
- Stand for much of the scheduled shift
