This Staff Engineer role sets direction for systems connecting Fullscript’s e-commerce platform with ERP, finance, planning, and warehouse operations. You will lead architectural decisions and complex cross-functional initiatives across an evolving, domain-critical environment. Your work will support maintainability, operational excellence, reliability, and secure long-term platform health.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as the domain expert for technical strategy
- Architect complex systems and workflows
- Identify risks, gaps, and pragmatic improvement opportunities
- Define and prioritize quarterly work with business partners




- Unblock teams through guidance, reviews, and collaboration

Requirements:

- Solid system design skills and long-term impact judgment
- Experience leading ambiguous problems from discovery through delivery
- High-scale application, integration, and SaaS engineering experience
- Seven-plus years with Ruby on Rails, React, JavaScript, GraphQL, and REST APIs
- Passion for testing, observability, security, and performance
