Support high-voltage structure assembly as a Heavy Lift Crane Operator with Ledcor. Apply crane controls, hand-signal awareness, and hazard assessment skills outdoors.

This experienced Crane Operator assignment supports a major oil sands mine expansion project for Ledcor’s client. You will operate 80- and 100-ton RT cranes or 50-ton boom trucks with manbaskets. Duties focus on heavy earthworks, construction, lifting components, and safe equipment operation in crowded work areas. The schedule consists of 14 days on, seven days off, and 11.5-hour workdays.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate equipment across heavy earthworks and construction tasks
- Assist high-voltage structure assembly by lifting components
- Exercise caution around traffic, equipment,



and adverse terrain
- Read verbal, non-verbal, and hand-signal instructions
- Log equipment maintenance concerns after inspections

Requirements:

- Three-plus years crane experience preferred
- Ability to operate other heavy equipment
- Construction experience in an industrial setting
- Red Seal certification through recognized provincial authority
- CSO or BSO considered an asset

Use heavy-lift experience, safe equipment operation, and explicit communication to support Ledcor’s industrial construction work.
