Shape secondary Science curriculum at Assumption College School through Ministry alignment, program leadership, and professional development. The appointment runs from September 2027 through June 2030.

As Department Head, you will provide guidance for Science programs while serving as a member of the school leadership team. The work supports department accountability for student achievement. Curriculum design and management reflect Ministry guidelines, Ontario Catholic School Graduate Expectations, Board priorities, and School Improvement Plans.

Key Responsibilities:

- Facilitate delivery of appropriate Science department programs
- Compile curriculum requirements from the Ministry and Board
- Lead department professional development for school improvement




- Coordinate with other departments to meet student needs
- Communicate department matters with school administration

Requirements:

- Intermediate and Senior Science basic qualifications
- Science Honour Specialist additional qualification
- At least five years’ secondary panel teaching experience
- Knowledge of current system and school priorities
- Ability to work collaboratively as a leader
