This Senior Staff Software Engineer guides technical direction for AI services across Diligent’s global product suite. You will partner with Applied Scientists, product managers, and Staff Engineers to productize research. The work spans secure AWS Serverless systems, retrieval, and production AI delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Translate AI strategy into execution roadmaps
- Productize AI capabilities with Applied Scientists and Product teams
- Design OpenSearch and semantic or vector search systems
- Present architecture guidance across the department
- Navigate ambiguous problems toward successful delivery

Requirements:

- Experience taking AI solutions from research prototypes to production
- Hands-on OpenSearch or Elasticsearch experience
- Semantic search and vector embeddings experience
- Mentorship experience with senior or Staff-level engineers
- 10-15+ years of skilled software development experience
