Argus Hospitality is seeking an Assistant Controller for Four Points by Sheraton Kelowna Airport and Hampton Inn & Suites Kelowna. You will oversee accounting activities, prepare financial reports, monitor expenditures, and support revenue forecasting. The role also contributes to compliance with GAAP, local tax laws, and company standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and analyze financial reports and summarize financial status
- Process payables, receivables, payroll, inventory, and month-end close
- Verify guest and advance deposits ledgers and related transactions




- Review inter-company transactions and generate invoices when necessary
- Suggest efficiency and spending improvements using financial analysis

Requirements:

- Solid accounting fundamentals and accounting software proficiency
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Payworks payroll system
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Legal entitlement to work in Canada without restriction
