Build Remitly’s next generation Customer Success platform using full stack engineering and up-to-date AI development tools. The role follows a hybrid onsite schedule.

As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will create intuitive experiences for customers and support agents worldwide. You will develop frontend and backend systems while exploring Agentic AI for contact handling and back-office automation. Success requires ownership of complex, ambiguous engineering problems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Architect new workflows and high-impact platform capabilities
- Implement frontend, backend, and Agentic AI solutions
- Translate requirements into scalable, high-quality software
- Uphold engineering standards across codebases and processes
- Debug applications and improve reliability and performance

Requirements:

- Six or more years in team-based software engineering
- Experience leading engineers on large features
- Frontend and backend development experience
- Hands-on use of Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor
- AI engineering application experience is beneficial
