Use strong accounting leadership to manage finance across three agricultural companies and subsidiaries from Ag-Quest’s Minto head office.

The Financial Controller reports to the Executive teams at Ag-Quest and Rourke Farms. This position oversees financial portfolios, reporting, audits, compliance, and accounting collaboration. Key work includes payroll, reconciliations, government filings, financial controls, and support for business growth and project profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with accounting clerks on semi-monthly payroll
- Coordinate benefits, RRSP, DPSP, workers’ compensation, and EI
- Provide financial information to accountants and Executive Teams




- Support organizational goals and assigned office duties

Requirements:

- Five years of experience including payables and receivables
- Experience with reconciliations, auditing, payroll, and financial services
- QuickBooks and Microsoft Office computer skills
- Robust organization, accuracy, communication, and critical thinking
- Canadian citizenship or permanent residency status required
