Support Diagnostic Imaging at Chinook Regional Hospital by producing high quality MRI studies and addressing patient needs throughout scanning.

This regular part time MRI Technologist I position serves patients in Lethbridge and the Southwest Zone. You will prepare examinations, position patients, review histories, and explain procedures. Your work provides magnetic resonance images for Radiologist or Cardiologist interpretation, diagnosis, and disease tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

- Respond to patients’ physical and psychological needs
- Prepare patients for ordered MRI examinations
- Position patients accurately during scanning procedures
- Produce and record magnetic resonance images
- Maintain diagnostic MRI equipment

Requirements:

- Diploma from an accredited Medical Resonance Imaging program
- Qualifying accredited MRI certificate and related medical imaging diploma
- Active or eligible CAMRT registration
- Current BCLS-HCP certification
- IV/CVAD Authorization
