Use labour relations and mediation expertise to address complex workplace disputes at PSAC in Ottawa. The appointment is temporary and full time.

This Conflict Resolution Advisor provides guidance to PSAC’s Director and Management Team on internal organizational conflict. You will evaluate dispute resolution models, handle mediation processes, and apply human rights obligations in a unionized environment. The role also supports training, workplace assessments, and dispute resolution across applicable legislation and collective agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate appropriate models for complex workplace disputes
- Provide mediation and conflict resolution advice
- Monitor internal dispute resolution processes
- Support training and education in mediation




- Identify systemic issues and recommend relevant actions

Requirements:

- Expert knowledge of labour relations and organizational psychology
- Minimum five years’ experience in dispute resolution
- Minimum five years’ experience handling mediation processes
- Experience providing mediation training in unionized settings
- Robust legal research and analytical abilities

Support PSAC’s internal workplace relations through mediation, labour expertise, legal research, and practical dispute resolution models.
