This permanent, full time Senior Naval Architect position focuses on professionally executing client taskings for submarines. You will manage technical work, collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, and support projects involving shipyards, dockyards, owners, class societies, and original equipment manufacturers. The position requires expertise in submarine structural calculations and knowledge of applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage technical work and evaluate effectiveness for best practice
- Act as Technical Lead, Technical Assurer, or Project Manager
- Work with shipyards and dockyards on submarine surveys
- Apply IMO, class,



Transport Canada, and Canadian Forces standards
- Work within BMT quality management processes and procedures

Requirements:

- Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture degree
- At least 15 years of naval architecture experience
- Submarine new-build or existing-platform refit experience
- Valid passport and international travel availability
- Eligibility for Canadian and international security clearances
