Support Thermo Fisher Scientific analytical systems as a Calgary-based Field Service Engineer focused on diagnostics, repairs, and customer laboratory performance. This remote position covers Alberta with occasional Western Canada travel.

As Engineer III, Field Service, you will provide advanced technical support across Chromatography and Trace Elemental instrumentation. The work includes installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, qualifying, and optimizing systems. Your customers include leading academic, industrial, healthcare, and government laboratories.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver technical support and build trusted customer relationships
- Install and optimize IC, LC, HPLC, and UHPLC systems
- Service ICP-OES and ICP-MS instrumentation




- Close work orders accurately using company systems
- Follow customer and Thermo Fisher safety requirements

Requirements:

- Diploma, associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
- Experience servicing analytical instrumentation in the field
- Expertise across multiple Chromatography and Trace Elemental platforms
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
- Ability to lift and transport service tools and equipment
