Shape strategic communications and fundraising at ErinoakKids in Mississauga, working remotely with two onsite days each week. Counsel leaders and engage donors.

As Director, Communications and Engagement, you will lead communications professionals and the Development team. You will create integrated messaging, strengthen donor and staff engagement, and align philanthropy with organizational goals. You will also contribute to reputation management, planning, decision-making, and change initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop communications plans for staff, families, donors, partners, and public audiences
- Measure communication results and recommend improvements
- Lead, mentor, inspire, and evaluate Development team members
- Grow support through donors, volunteers, foundations, and corporate partners




- Provide strategic counsel on issues management and reputational risks

Requirements:

- Degree in communications, development, engagement, leadership, or equivalent
- At least 10 years’ related leadership or management experience
- Not-for-profit, government, or regulated-workplace experience considered an asset
- Child, family, community, or healthcare experience considered an asset
- Bilingual English and another language considered an asset
