Support MATRIX’s Yellowknife yard operations through freight coordination, asset control, equipment operation, and reliable daily logistical support.

As an experienced Yard and Expediting Coordinator, you will help keep the shop, yard, assets, and storage areas ready. The position supports the Expeditor, Buyer, Operations and Logistics Manager, and Northern Operations Manager. Responsibilities include shipment preparation, loading, deliveries, maintenance follow-up, and transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate freight handling, shipments, pickups, deliveries, and material movement
- Communicate daily priorities, yard needs, shipment requirements, and support tasks
- Inspect, tag, maintain, and coordinate repairs for incoming assets
- Operate company vehicles for employees, supplies,



tools, and equipment
- Monitor yard supplies and report maintenance or repair requirements

Requirements:

- Ability to multitask while maintaining detailed work practices
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities
- Self-motivated, initiative-taking, and independently capable
- Mechanical aptitude would be an asset
- Previous yard, warehouse, logistics, or expediting experience an asset
