Support Semtech’s data communications products as an Applications Engineer in Burlington, creating customer solutions through laboratory experiments and clear technical communication.

This associate-level engineering opportunity supports products across definition, validation, production, and end-of-life. You will collaborate with senior team members on customer troubleshooting, recent product introduction, and qualification testing. Responsibilities also include technical collateral, remote debugging, performance characterization, and feedback that informs product development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Respond to technical inquiries through email, phone, and web portals
- Prepare test reports, application notes, and design guide input
- Participate in customer calls and remote debugging sessions




- Interpret lab data and derive guided actionable conclusions
- Contribute to evaluation board guides and characterization reports

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field
- No prior work experience required; laboratory co-op experience is beneficial
- RF and signal integrity fundamentals, including VNA measurement exposure
- Exposure to oscilloscopes, network analyzers, or Bit Error Rate Testers
- Strong communication skills and effective time management
