Support emergency patients at UHN’s Toronto General Hospital using nursing science, reflective practice, and sound clinical decision-making. Work permanently full-time across diverse shifts.

This Registered Nurse position serves the Emergency Department within UHN’s nursing multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will provide care under UHN’s Professional Practice Model and follow College of Nurses of Ontario standards. The schedule totals 37.5 hours each week.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver competent care aligned with UHN nursing practice
- Apply nursing theory, skills, and critical decision-making
- Maintain ethical and professional practice standards
- Analyze nursing knowledge through reflective practice
- Perform assigned cross-functional responsibilities

Requirements:

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse in Ontario
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Continuing education in emergency or critical care preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification is an asset
- Trauma Nursing Core Course certification is an asset
