Lead planning and development for the Town of Drumheller, guiding complex files, land-use matters, and clear municipal processes. This permanent full-time role works Monday to Friday.

Reporting to the Director of Recreation & Community Services, the Manager leads the Town’s planning and development function. The work includes policy, development activity, responsible growth, and economic development. Success requires practical leadership, responsive service, and coordination with Council, departments, developers, residents, businesses, and community partners.

Key Responsibilities

Lead planning and development services across the Town

Provide direction on land-use matters and complex files

Build clear, consistent applicant processes





Coordinate planning decisions with infrastructure and capital priorities

Guide planning and development staff professionally
