Basic Requirement of a Plasma cutter/CNC Machine operator

Core Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, or CAD/CAM files.
- Load raw metal sheets onto the cutting bed using cranes or forklifts.
- Set up, calibrate, and operate the CNC plasma table and nesting software.
- Monitor the cutting path and machine performance to prevent errors or defects.
- Inspect finished parts using tape measures, calipers, or gauges.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, change worn consumables (nozzles/electrodes), and troubleshoot basic machine issues.

Job Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with CNC machinery Programming(Must: Experience with Plasma cutting Tables) , metal fabrication,



or heavy industrial environments.
- Ability to read blueprints and use basic math for measurements.
- Physical fitness to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of shop safety rules and proper personal protective equipment (PPE) use.

Pay: $17.60-$24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
