- Lead independent and team-oriented research projects focused on the development of novel causal machine learning methods for estimating causal effects in longitudinal studies.
- Develop innovative statistical methodologies and estimation procedures that advance the state of the art in causal inference and machine learning.
- Derive theoretical properties of proposed methods, including consistency, efficiency, robustness, and asymptotic behavior.
- Design and conduct large-scale simulation studies to evaluate the performance of newly developed methodologies under a variety of scientific and statistical settings.
- Apply advanced causal inference and machine learning techniques to complex health and population research data.
- Develop, maintain, and disseminate open-source statistical software packages and computational tools to facilitate the implementation of novel methods.
- Prepare manuscripts for publication in high-impact peer-reviewed journals and contribute to the dissemination of research findings within the scientific community.
