Calgary-based Electrical Engineer wanted for Kiewit’s power district, coordinating multidisciplinary designs and electrical equipment for North American projects.

This full time, mid-level position contributes to Kiewit Engineering Group’s EPC delivery model for power facilities.

Responsibilities include scheduling design work, interfacing with construction partners, preparing specifications, and participating in technical meetings. Occasional travel, including travel into the United States, is required.

Key Responsibilities

Schedule and review electrical design activities

Specify components and equipment with procurement teams

Interface with construction partners on technical requirements

Participate in scope, deliverables, and design meetings





Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards

Requirements

Electrical Engineering bachelor’s degree from a CEAB-accredited institution

Minimum three years in electrical engineering

Experience in power generation or oil and gas

Computer and electrical department software proficiency

P.Eng designation strongly preferred

Support power project delivery in Calgary through multidisciplinary coordination, compliant electrical designs, and practical construction-focused engineering.
