Perform transplant diagnostic testing at Arthur J.E. Child Cancer Centre, using laboratory procedures, quality control, and accurate result reporting. The schedule includes days and on-call coverage.

As a Medical Laboratory Technologist II, you will coordinate daily laboratory operations and quality control for Transplant Laboratory South. You will perform standard and specialized procedures supporting Alberta transplant and organ donation programs. The work includes troubleshooting instruments, providing technical advice, and maintaining laboratory records.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform, report, and record diagnostic laboratory testing
- Identify abnormal findings and alert senior staff
- Coordinate, prioritize, monitor, and assign laboratory work




- Troubleshoot instruments and support specialized procedures
- Manage samples, orders, inventory, and temperature checks

Requirements:

- Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology program
- Active or eligible CMLTA registration and practice permit
- Availability for on-call MLT coverage from 4pm to 7am
- Recent histocompatibility and immunogenetics experience preferred
- Robust time management, prioritization, and interpersonal skills
