Support Corporate Purchasing in Surrey, BC, using advanced Excel and analytical skills to manage category data accurately. This full time role is based in person.
As a Category Specialist, you will provide administrative, executional, and analytical support to Category Managers. Your work will maintain product information, coordinate vendors, analyze sales trends, and support category strategies. The contract lasts 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain product, vendor, and broker information in internal systems
- Execute item setup, delisting, descriptions, vendor updates, and fee management
- Process vendor cost changes and coordinate approvals
- Prepare reports and data packages for planning and negotiations
- Analyze category performance, sales trends, and margin information
Requirements:
- Business certificate program or related education
- Minimum three years of related experience
- Advanced Excel and comprehensive MS Office Suite knowledge
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- ERP experience, including LOC Store Management System, is an asset
