Central Zone is seeking an Operating Room Technician for a temporary full time assignment at Central NL Regional Health Centre. Working under a Registered Nurse, this position provides care across Perioperative and Ambulatory environments for clients and families. Duties include vital signs, medication reconciliation, assessments, counselling, reporting, and research assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide perioperative operating room technician duties
- Complete Ambulatory Clinic LPN and ORT duties
- Perform medication reconciliation and record vital signs
- Conduct health assessments and counselling




- Support data reporting and research activities

Requirements:

- Graduate from an approved practical nursing program
- Hold current CLPNNL registration and BLS certification
- Complete a recognized comprehensive perioperative nursing course
- Demonstrate wound care and medication administration proficiency
- Provide satisfactory work, attendance, and conduct records
