Apply privacy legislation expertise as an FOI Analyst with the District of North Vancouver, supporting hybrid Legislative Services work.

This regular full time position administers Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act requirements. You will process public information-access requests, recommend releasing or withholding information, and support privacy and records management functions. The work includes coordinating Privacy Impact Assessments, Information Sharing Agreements, special research projects, and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process public requests for access to information

- Research special projects and compile related reports
- Participate in records management projects

Requirements:

- Knowledge of British Columbia privacy legislation and regulations
- Practical knowledge of FOI processes and principles
- Experience writing PIAs, ISAs, policies, and guidance
- Ability to interpret and apply FIPPA provisions
- Privacy or records management education and related experience

Use FOI analysis, privacy assessment, and legislative interpretation skills to support accountable information access at the District.
