Coordinate agricultural equipment service administration at Prairie AG, using work order accuracy and customer communication in a dealership setting. Support technicians, managers, and customers through organized service processes.
The Service Writer works with the Service Manager and shop on work orders and administrative duties. Prairie AG represents Kubota, Claas, JCB, Seedmaster, and Horsch across its dealership locations. This position supports service operations, warranty processing, payroll entry, customer communication, and technician dispatching when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare work orders for management review and approval
- Enter time and job stories accurately and promptly
- File warranty claims for respective original equipment manufacturers
- Answer incoming Service Department calls
- Process technician expenses and payroll time submissions
Requirements:
- Similar agricultural or comparable industry experience is an asset
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient time management skills
- Strong telephone and in-person customer service skills
