Provide advanced emergency care in Stephenville as a full time Advanced Care Paramedic, responding to calls across Western Zone.

STVPARA - Stephenville Paramedicine seeks an Advanced Care Paramedic for RCS RoadAmb-SWCoast. The successful applicant works independently within scope, responding to emergency and routine calls, assessing patients, and providing advanced interventions. Primary Care Paramedic applicants may be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate ambulances for emergency and routine responses
- Conduct examinations, assessments, and diagnostic tests
- Interpret tests and initiate advanced interventions
- Provide pre-hospital care at emergency scenes
- Mentor students and new employees when required

Requirements:

- Graduate from an approved Canadian Medical Association-accredited ACP program
- Maintain current NL Paramedicine Regulation registration
- Hold a valid Newfoundland and Labrador Class 4 license
- Maintain Basic Life Support and current ACLS certification
- Complete physical capability testing and meet provincial standards
