Diagnose and repair tractor trailers roadside for Penske in Woodstock, Ontario, using repair tools safely in all weather conditions. Work Friday through Sunday.
This Diesel Technician/Mechanic position provides roadside assistance to Penske customers. You will identify maintenance issues, determine replacement parts and warrantable repairs, and complete documentation. The work includes diagnostics, rapid repairs, vehicle maintenance, and designated in-shop repairs. Candidates need tractor trailer maintenance experience, 310T or 310J certification, and proficiency with shop tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to roadside assistance calls
- Diagnose and repair truck maintenance issues safely
- Document replacement parts and warrantable repairs
- Restock tools, parts, tires, and supplies
- Assist with in-shop repairs when assigned
Requirements:
- Four-plus years tractor trailer maintenance experience
- 310T or 310J certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Class G driver’s license; Class DZ preferred
- Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions
